While there has been continuous talks about the PS4 and the Xbox One having obsolete hardware compared to the improving technology of gaming with PC, both companies have been trying to ensure the regular rollout of updates to keep its next-gen consoles in-check and up-to-date.

However, there seems to be another way to transform the Xbox One into something more similar to PC gaming--at least this is what modder Ed Jarick is trying to offer with his latest creation.

PC World has spotted the new creation called the Xbook One, which is basically a transformed Xbox One that is given a computer makeover. Seen in the video below, the Xbox One has been transformed into a portable device where you can play games. This is because the Xbook One has a strapped on 22-inch 1080p LCD monitor so you can play the game wherever you want.

According to the source, the Xbook One also has fans and the base inside parts of the Xbox One, as well as some 3D-printed parts and features. However, given the size of the Xbook One, plus the fact that you will still need an outlet for it to run, this is not necessarily a portable gaming device. But it does give you options, if you are into this kind of experiment.

The Xbook One is currently priced at $1,400 without the Kinect--which may not be necessary as it is not incorporated into the Xbook One and remains a standalone device--but one should not that this offer does not have a Microsoft warranty. The source reports that the fact that the Xbox One was opened and rearranged to fit another body voids the warranty completely.

All you have by way of a guarantee would be the 30-day warrant that Jarick offers for the device. It's suggested that there are a few other laptop choices that offer the same, if not better, resolution and gaming experience for less the price of the Xbook One.

For those who want to stick with the Xbox gaming console, Microsoft has also just announced a few new bundles for the holidays for the Xbox 360. Announced over his blog, Major Nelson also mentions that retailers will be carrying the new bundles as early as next week.

There are basically three new bundles offered for the Xbox 360, including the following:
