X-Factor USA Judge Demi Lovato’s 'Neon Lights'; Top Things to Know about Singer’s Third Single from Album 'Demi' [VIDEO]

Is “Neon Lights” a good choice for The X-Factor USA judge, Demi Lovato’s third single? The buzz is getting louder that Demi is releasing a third single from her fourth album, “Demi” and rumours have it that the singer and her record label had picked the upbeat club song.

Citing the report by Idolator.com, the Headlines and Global News asserted that indeed the synth-pop written by Ryan Tedder is Demi’s third single. The Latina singer’s record label, Hollywood Records recently uploaded the single to their official page, SoundCloud.

There remains no official statement from Demi’s record label if indeed her “Neon Lights” is set to be released as third single. But the move to upload it on its official page sings louder than words. Millions of Demi’s fans are advised however, to hold their horses in going for celebratory mode.

HNGN described the song sounding like a mix between Demi’s friend, Selena Gomez’s hit song, “Hit the Lights” and Rihanna’s No.1 song, “We Found the Love.” This should give Demi some confidence that her third single from “Demi” album will likely do well on the radio. It will not be a surprise if “Neon Lights” follows the footsteps of Demi’s “Heart Attack” recently VEVO certified for having been viewed more 100,000 times.

“Neon Lights” offered something new to the ears of Demi’s fans with its “energetic, electronic soundscape,” a far cry from the Latina singer’s “mid-tempo pop-rock songs and ballads.”

Demi recently performed “Neon Lights” before 20,000 kids at the “We Day” concert held in Toronto. The event is part of the movement Demi has participated in, with aims at inspiring kids to take part in community activities and to be influenced as “agents of social change.”

"Everyone in this audience EARNED their seat by doing charity work," the 21-year old singer said in a statement she posted on her official Facebook.

The statement was accompanied by a Keek video she shot featuring the crowd.
