“The X-Factor” USA judge, Simon Cowell is known for his brutal honesty and he has proven himself to be one once again in a recent interview as he revealed his top three choices.

At this early in the game, the fans have yet to see their Top 16 Finalists and SiCo already has his three choices. In an interview with Parade magazine, the soon-to-be-dad identified his top three favorites.

"Thirteen-year-old Rion Paige, who has a muscular disease, is fantastic. Lillie McCloud is 54 and proves that age is not a barrier. And there’s a group, Restless Road, that I’ve got a really good feeling about,” Simon was quoted as telling Parade magazine by examiner.com.

A look at the performances of the three "X Factor USA" hopefuls (one, a three-member group act) proves that indeed the judges had all great things to say about their performances in the early part of the show.

Here are Simon Cowell's top three choices who he believes stand out among the Top 16 Finalists on "The X Factor USA" 2013, Season 3.

Lillie McCloud
At 54, Lillie McCloud is the oldest "X Factor" contestant this season. She may be the last to perform on the last night of the Four Chair Challenge, but McCloud stood out with her rendition of “A House is Not a Home.” The hopeful from Orlando, FL impressed the judges and received the rare standing ovation from all of them, noted Zeibiz.com.

Demi Lovato thinks McCloud is a "superstar," while Paulina Rubio was left "speechless." Kelly Rowland assured McCloud she has a slot on her list of the final four while Simon Cowell declared she has a "big voice" and said, "I just want you to know that I love you, I really do. Competition needs big voices, needs to be stars and you have the X Factor."

Rion Page
If Lillie is the oldest this season, Rion Page is the youngest contestant to step on “The X Factor USA” stage this season. She impressed the judges and wowed the audience with her rendition of Rascal Flatts’ “I Won’t Let Go.”

Kelly loves watching Rion as Demi praises the maturity of her voice. And Simon Cowell asserted, she's "got it."

Kelly Rowland: "Rion, I love your voice. I love how happy and excited you are when you sing. I just love watching you.”

Demi Lovato: "You’re only 13 and you have such a mature voice coming out of you. And you know, when I look at you, I don’t see anything different.

Simon Cowell: "Well, Rion, when you’ve got it, you got it, right? And I really, really like your voice. And I think we’re scratching the surface here.”

Restless Road
Just like One Direction, Restless Road is a group of boys created by Simon Cowell this season .” Its members are Zach Beeken 17, Colton Pack 18 and Andrew Scholz, 18. Performing “Somebody Like You,” they wowed the audience who gave them a standing ovation.

Cowell was too impressed that he declared the group could be the next “country man band. And according to Gossip Cop, his fellow judges agreed with him. Paulina saw the differences among the three members while Kelly believed bringing them together as a "brilliant idea." Demi praised Simon for creating the group, noting the veteran judge as "genius" for doing so. As for Simon, the British mogul emphasized the importance of creating friendship among the newly formed country group.

Now the ball is in your court, “X Factor” fans. Live performances are scheduled this week, with tentative dates from Oct. 29- 31.
