Microsoft has made it easy for new companies manufacturing PC's to get license to enter the Windows ecosystem. One such company is E FUN. This company will be selling a Windows 8.1, 10.1 inch tablet that includes a detachable POGO keyboard for just $179. This tablet called the Nextbook would be the first Windows slate that will be priced below $200. It can function like a tablet as well as a laptop.

The tablet will go on sale at Walmart stores nationwide beginning from mid November and pre-orders for this tablet will begin on October 23 at the Walmart website. In December the slated will be available on sale at Sam's Club.

Though the Nextbook is inexpensive its performance is pretty good according to ZDNet. The specifications of the Nextbook include the Intel Atom Z3735G quad-core processor with 32GB of built-in storage and 1GB of RAM. It sports a 1,280 x 800 IPS touch screen display.

The device has a micro SD slot for expandable memory up to 64 GB and a micro HDMI Port. The Wi-Fi is 802.11b/g/n enabled. It also sports a front facing camera that is 0.3 mega pixels and 2 mega pixel rear facing camera that is of low resolution. Microsoft is giving 1 year of free subscription to the Office 365 personal and also includes 1TB of OneDrive cloud storage free for one year along with 60 Skype world minutes per month.

The two in one Nextbook is worth its buy with the detachable and foldable keyboard which will be very handy. The 10.1 inch display is to the advantage of the Nextbook. However, this deal may not last as there could be competition in the coming weeks due to the approaching holiday season.

As mentioned earlier the Nextbook will be sold at Walmart for a meagre price of $179. Pre orders begin on Ocotber 23 at the Walmart website and in mid November it will be available at brick and mortar locations. The Sam's Club will sell it on December.
