The second part of “The Voice” knockouts was aired on Tuesday on NBC. Rihanna was back in this episode as a guest mentor in the show. The remaining contestants from each team performed against each other in the 12th episode to secure their place for the next rounds.

The show began with Team Gwen’s contenders Korin Bukowski and Summer Schapell. They hopped on the stage to compete against each other in “The Knockouts.” Korin performed “All I Want” by Kodaline, while, Summer performed “Little White Church” by Little Big Town. Adam was totally smitten by Korin and Pharrell called her a “firecracker.” Pharrell was impressed by Korin’s falsetto and found it to be beautiful. Gwen saves Korin as she found her to be charming, while, Summer was dumped from the show.

Dustin Christensen and Keith Semple from Team Adam were next to perform in “The Knockouts.” Adam stole Dustin from Team Blake in the “Battle Rounds.” Dustin performed “Free” by Zac Brown Band and Keith sang “I Want to Know What Love Is” by Foreigner. Gwen complimented Keith for his vibe and energy and said that she loved his performance. Adam too was impressed by Keith and said that he extended the notes just the way he was asked to. Adam appeared confused and after pondering for a while, he chose Keith over Dustin. Adam felt bad for Dustin as he showed great potential but had to leave the show and go back home.

The next contenders in “The Knockouts were” Darius Scott and Morgan Frazier from Team Pharrell. Darius sang “On Broadway” by George Benson and was applauded by the judges as well as the audience. Morgan performed “Even If it Breaks Your Heart” by Eli Young Band. Pharrell advised Morgan to try and connect more with the song rather than stressing out on achieving perfection. After the performance, Pharrell kept Darius in the competition and dumped Morgan. However, Blake stole Morgan and brought her back in his team.
