‘The Voice’ Season 9 ‘Blind Auditions Part 3’ recap and highlights: Tyler Dickerson, Chris Crump leave the audience spellbound [Watch Videos]

"The Voice" Season 9 is back with “The Blind Auditions Part 3” episode which aired on Monday night at NBC. Tyler Dickerson and Chris Crump were just some of the contestants who managed to impress the judges with their chords and notes.

The latest episode of this Emmy award winning music competition was nothing less than a musical extravaganza that brought forward some of the most amazing talents. It marked the beginning of the second week of the blind auditions. Hopefuls flocked to the stage to showcase their love for music and bring out the spectacular performances that left "The Voice" judges Gwen Stefani, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Pharrell Williams, in awe.

Continuing its tradition of revealing emotional stories from contestants’ personal lives, this episode brought tears to the audience's eyes when Dickerson narrated his difficult journey. He went from being an upcoming musical sensation to losing it all due to a brutal accident in his past. He later performed “Hard To Handle” by The Black Crowes and was recruited in Team Blake.

Texas native Chris Crump impressed all the judges with his performance of “Thinking Out Loud” by Ed Sheeran and won a four-chair turn. The 31-year-old chose to be a part of Team Blake, too.

"The Voice" Season 9 achieved another milestone when its number of subscribers in YouTube reached a whopping 3 million. The show tweeted about this achievement from its official Twitter handle @NBCTheVoice.

"The Voice’s" Twitter page also dropped a hint on the surprise that the audience can expect this week.

This tweet is reportedly hinting at Jubal Lee Young's marriage proposal to his duet partner Amanda Preslar. The duo performed “Seven Bridges Road” by The Eagles and it was after their performance that Young got down on his knee to propose to Preslar.

The other contestants who managed to secure a position for themselves in the “The Blind Auditions Part 3” of "The Voice" Season 9 are Jeffery Austin, Cassandra Robertson, Lyndsey Elm, Madi Davis, Morgan Frazier, Daria Jazmin, Amanda Ayala, Riley Biederer and Manny Cabo. Unfortunately, Joe Maye and Caleb Lee Hutchinson didn't make the cut this year.
