One Direction will hit the stage beginning May 28 in Sunderland's Stadium of Light for their "Where We Are" tour but wait, before you come rushing into their concert, be sure to check your ticket if you are 12 years old or below 18! It may be a heartbreaking moment for underage fans of Harry, Liam, Louis, Niall and Zayn.

This news was according to the group's promoter himself and was confirmed by Paul Weir, head security of the event during an interview with BBC Newsbeat. According to Weir, the age restriction is for safety purposes. He revealed that the rule is "different dynamic to anything that was staged at the Stadium of Light."

The stadium's health and safety regulations provides that attendees below 12 years old will not be allowed admission if they have a standing ticket. Children 12 to 16 years old must come with an adult. The gates will also be secured and cordoned by stewards who are ready to decline admission to rule breakers who will attempt to get in, according to the UK Mirror.

While many expect that with this underage restriction, the newest One Direction tour this 2014 will make every fan girl cry and decrease ticket sales, the group remains positive with the turnout of their world tour which will have its head start in UK. Consequently, the entire gang will be in Ireland, the rest of Europe, U.S.A., South America and Canada from April to October in celebration of their "Midnight Memories" album, according to Metro UK.

Besides their world tour, the next thing that the 1D will be busy in is promoting their fourth and newest album which is expected to be released on November of this year.

One Direction is likewise busy attending to some interviews to answer the latest buzz about them. Just recently a Daily Star report featured the boys alluding to their "rebellious side." The said report revealed that they were being naughty by raiding a hotel mini bar for some alcohol booze. "That's the only way," uttered Niall of this revelation.

Perhaps this news will mean breaking from their "angel-like" images, this side of the famous Britt singers will sure make more girls love them!
