Before Kate Middleton lived in a palace with a Prince, she worked for their family business that sells party favors online.

Kate Middleton did not always have a life of a princess; she also had to work for the family business, just like everybody else that has one. In a report by Celebs Gather, Kate's parents are self-made millionaires because of their company selling party favors online. One of their most popular items is a sculpting kit that allows women to carve their very own "dream guy," complete with sculpting instructions and 5 different colors of clay for the skin tone.

The item is featured as the top gift idea for the 2011 holiday season and its description says "If you're finding that landing your dream guy is proving too difficult, too time-consuming and seemingly doomed to failure, all you need to do is get hold of this kit and learn to design a whole variety of gorgeous guys from the Millionaire to the Movie Star to the Handsome Prince."

After a while, the "Prince" part of the description was omitted by the Middleton family for obvious reasons. Aside from the fact that Kate is married to Prince William, the marketing department might have realized that it's not healthy to promote Kate's personal life just to sell a couple of units.
