Every since Tyler Hoechlin was announced as the new Superman for the US drama “Supergirl,” there has been plenty of speculation surrounding his role. Recently, Hoechlin was seen filming two separate scenes along with Melissa Benoist in Vancouver.

According to Design N Trend, the first scene was shot in Green Harbour Park, Vancouver. They were taken by YVRShoots and can be seen here.

From the photos, Benoist, who plays Supergirl and her alter-ego Kara Danvers, and Hoechlin seemed to be filming a casual walk-and-talk scene.

The other scene was shot in George Wainborn Park. This set of photos were taken by Pop Goes The World and are viewable here.

It is unknown at this point what the two actors were filming specifically, but it is sure that fans of the show will see Kara and Clark Kent in their secret identities. Another thing to take from the sightings is that viewers will be brought around to Kent’s adopted home town.

Hoechlin is slated to appear in the first two episodes of “Supergirl” season 2. Furthermore, it was disclosed at the recently concluded San Diego Comic Con that Danvers and Kent will have a misunderstanding. The show’s executive producer, Sarah Schechter, shared that the fight will be about Kent having very different beliefs on how to use his powers on Earth.

Evidently from the films that have been shot, the two cousins will eventually set their differences aside.

Unfortunately, Hoechlin will not be around for the entire series. Schechter explained that Kent would be making an appearance for the familial story of Danvers.

“It's about the family that you make as an adult and this family that's come together and then it's also about the family you came from,” she said. “We have Clark to represent the family. I think it's only natural now that Kara reconnects with him."

“Supergirl” season 2 premieres on Oct. 10 at 8 p.m. on The CW. It will be aired by Syfy in Australia.
