"Star Wars" fans no longer have to wonder about the seventh installment plot. The production team have already set taping this May, in none other than the busy city of London. The most anticipated final installment of the sci-fi series is slated to be released in 2015 but fans are already up for a treat as production companies Disney and Lucasfilm dished on some plot details of the movie.

The production companies hinted to the public that they would retain some of the original "Star Wars" actors" for the seventh installment cast. The original "Star Wars" saga topped the trilogy with the phenomenal hit "Return of the Jedi," which was released in 1983. The upcoming sci-fi film of Star Wars shall be released in 2015-thirty years after the "Return of the Jedi." It is literally "Star Wars: 30 Years Later."

Moreover, Disney and Lucasfilm also hinted to the greater public that the upcoming sequel to the sci-fi series "will star a trio of new young leads along with some familiar faces," as mentioned in The Verge. Will fans get to see the likes of Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill in "Star Wars: Episode VII?"

Meanwhile, other actors who have allegedly auditioned for the lead role in the upcoming sci-fi film include "Downtoan Abbey" Ed Speelers, "Attack the Block" star John Boyega and Jesse Piemons, theater actors Matthew James Thomas and Ray Fisher. Nothing is really cast in stone as J.J. Abrams, the well-acclaimed director of "Star Wars: Episode VII" is still looking for the perfect cast for the sure-to be phenomenal film.

According to sources, the production team is still finding it a hard time to fill in the cast as they envision a more racially diverse cast. According to Yahoo, the executives desire someone from a "different ethnicity from the previous Caucasian leads." Abrams has showed support to racial diversity, that is why hunky Michael B. Jordan and David Oyewolo got a chance to audition for the lead role.

Despite the ambiguity that shrouds the upcoming film, one thing is for sure; fans are going to up for some heavenly treat as a big reunion of major roles is sure to happen in a galaxy far, far away.
