Apple (APPL) Inc's hallmark was and still is its credibility as a company that does things differently and makes products that appeal to every consumer in the world - whether it's the iPhone, the iPad, or the iPad mini. This is Apple's story, largely because it was the late CEO Steve Jobs' story and it continues to be a predominant concept at Cupertino.

On the Apple website's iPhone 5 webpage, a forward thinking note statement said, "With iPhone 5s, Apple designers and engineers found ways to add even more features while preserving the thin, light design. These features aren't just what's technologically possible, but what's technologically useful.'

CNET noted, "The optional fingerprint scanner rescues Apple's reputation as a smartphone maker with cutting-edge features that actually influence how people use their phones."

"How did it feel during a brief hands-on session after Apple's event? Surprisingly easy and fast," CNET added. "We were able to have Touch ID scan our fingerprint after about a dozen or so tap-clicks. After the process is done, the scan happens instantaneously: it feels just like clicking a home button. The scan becomes unnoticeable."

"We watched the fingerprint sensor unlock the phone quickly and easily (though we didn't get to try it ourselves), but presumably these were ideal conditions with iPhones that were fully acclimated to their handlers," wrote The Verge's Dieter Bohn. "That's not to say we don't think the fingerprint will be a great and fast experience for most users - Apple has clearly put more effort into this sensor than the failures we've seen on some Android phones - but we can't vouch for it until we've tried it ourselves."

The iPhone 5s will offer 10 hours of 3G talk time, up to 250h of standby, up to 40h of music playback. These numbers are the same as on the last year's iPhone 5, which is a nice achievement, considering the twice as fast CPU and GPU," wrote GSM Arena.

GSMArena explained that the battery life of the two new iPhones is the same as its predecessor iPhone 5.

Apple Insider reported that the iPhone 5 feels very light in your hands. "Dimensions are identical to the outgoing flagship handset, though we were once again surprised by the device's heft, or more specifically lack thereof."

The tech analysts firm added, "While light in the hand, the structure is just as solid as the iPhone 5, with similar button and switch feel."

Microsoft also voiced their two cents on twitter with the tweet, "8 megapixels is still just 8 megapixels. See what you can do with 41: http://newwp.it/1b1Yc0M #timetoswitch to #Windows Phone"

Here's what the rest of the tech community had to say about Apple Inc.'s iPhone 5 release.
