Simon Cowell has confirmed that “The X Factor USA” is coming back on air for the fourth season, but not fellow judge, Latina singer, Demi Lovato.

The series creator has revealed Wednesday night that the 21-year old singer is rolling down her curtain for the Fox reality show.

"I always knew she wasn't coming back because she's touring, so I knew that," said Cowell last Wednesday in a report by Billboard.

It did not take long for the “Heart Attack” hit singer to confirm her exit. Shortly after Simon’s announcement that Demi is leaving the show, Joe Jonas’s ex noted that she is looking forward to 2014.

"I started the show being a singer and a musician, and so I'm going to go back to that," said Demi, according to Billboard as she talked to reporters about her exit from “The X Factor USA.”

Demi added, "It's been really great, but I'm so excited for 2014. I'm going to dedicate it completely and entirely to music – touring and making a new album. Possibly releasing one."

Here are the top things Demi will miss about her exit from the reality competition:

Sitting with Kelly and Paulina
Demi returned on Season 3 of the “X Factor,” when head judge, Simon Cowell invited her to sit on the judging panel after her first stint on Season 2.

Though Demi was initially reported as having a “diva attitude” on the set of the “X Factor,” the “Neon Lights” singer turned out to have a great working relationship with the two new judges.

Helping Mentor the TXFU Contestants
Demi also revealed in the recent interview that she will also miss guiding hopefuls on the “X Factor.” As a judge on the reality show, Demi’s job entails giving her take on the performance of the contestants during live shows or pre-taped episodes on the Fox reality show.

The Latina singer, like Kelly and Paulina are also required to provide tips to the acts under their mentorship. She, like the other judges, helps determine the right song for their contestants and the arrangement of the song of their song choices.

On Season 3 of “The X Factor USA,” Demi headed the Girls Acts. The last four acts she mentored this season included, Rion Page, Ellona Santiago, Khaya Cohen and Danie Geimer.

"Being able to sit next to Kelly and Paulina and see them twice a week, and also helping mentor the contestants,” said Demi, according to Billboard.

Speaking to People magazine early Wednesday, Demi reportedly told the news Web site that conflict in schedule is her primary reason why she’s leaving “The X Factor,” noted Billboard.

Demi has currently nabbed a recurring guest role for Fox’s “Glee.” She is also said to be finishing her memoir set to be released after her book, titled, “Staying Strong: 365 Days a Year,” kicked off in November 2013.
