Sherlock's much awaited Season 3 which shows him making a comeback of sorts and shows Watson sporting a rather dapper tash is all set to be aired in the UK sometime late this year or early next year. However fans in the US are still in a bit of a lurch with no official airing date of now.

Accordingly to The Hollywood Reporter, PBS President Paula Kerger said that the broadcast date of Sherlock hasn't been set as of now and she also added that a months-long delay might not work for Sherlock the way it works for Downtown Abbey, yet another high-rating show. Sherlock does have a very passionate fan base and keeping such a longtime between the UK ad US airing would spoil the plot of the episode since the Internet reveals all spoilers.

She also stated that they are waiting to see the BBC schedule before they plot their own. There are no definite rules between UK and US airing per se, the air dates could be as close to each other or as far apart as the channels decide.

In other new sure to please the crowd in New South Wales, a number of vistas in Pembrey Village could be appearing as filming locations for soon-to-be-shot sequences of Season 3.
