Selena Gomez is a star in her own right but that doesn't mean she doesn't get starstruck anymore when the likes of Brad Pitt asks her for a picture.

During her recent visit to Ellen DeGeneres, the 20-year-old young star recalled her performance at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards. Selena sang and danced to the tune of her latest single "Come and Get It" in front of the large crowd. But as soon as she was back in her dressing room, something unexpected happened.

Selena said that Brad Pitt had requested to meet her after the show. She recalled how someone knocked on her door and asked her if Brad Pitt would be allowed to come in.

"I was in my dressing room and I had just finished performing. They knocked on my door and they said Brad Pitt would like to come in and I was like, 'He can come in,'" Selena said.

"I was trying to play cool and be really nice. As soon as he walked out I ran and I hid under the craft service table for like two minutes because I couldn't believe it was happening," the singer actress added.

As it turns out, Brad and Angelina's children, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox are big fans of Selena's Disney show, "Wizards of Waverly Palace."

"He was like, 'Can I have a picture with you?' I was like, 'Can I have a picture with you?'" she laughed.

Unfortunately for Selena she didn't get the chance to ask her souvenir photo with the "World War Z" star. She said that everyone was so all around the place but added that Brad Pitt was "so pretty."

But it wouldn't be an Ellen interview without squeezing in some questions about Justin and their breakup. The Jelena pair split over Christmas after being on and off for a couple of times before finally calling it quits.

"We have to ask you about it. But you are doing okay? We're concerned that you're happy and we want you to be happy," Ellen asked.

"I am. I met Brad Pitt. I'm great," Selena joyfully answered.
