'Scream Queens' Season 1, episode 5 spoilers: Grace to rescue friend Zayday in 'Pumpkin Patch' promo video [WATCH]

The next episode of FOX’s pilot horror-comedy series “Scream Queens” will continue to scare and bring hilarity as well as shocking story twists to the viewers as the show’s second Halloween-themed episode. A promo video and synopsis of “Scream Queens” Season 1, episode 5 titled “Pumpkin Patch” tease on Chanel’s minions, the Kappa Kappa Tau sorority pumpkin patch party, Zayday’s life in danger and the Red Devil killer.

In the previous episode titled “Haunted House,” the Red Devil killer targeted Kappa Kappa Tau (KKT) sorority pledge Zayday Williams (Keke Palmer). The promo video of “Scream Queens” episode 5 and the synopsis at TVGuide tease that Grace Gardner (Skyler Samuels) will be on a mission to find and rescue her friend with the help of Pete Diller (Diego Bonita).

However, the episode synopsis added that Grace’s search party for Zayday will put her in close contact with the mysterious Red Devil killer. Problems will also be thrown at the KTT sorority sisters in the next episode.

The synopsis further teased that Chanel #3 (Billie Lourd) and Chanel #5 (Abigail Breslin) will find out what life would be like without their KKT sorority president Chanel Oberlin (Emma Roberts). As for Chanel’s pumpkin patch party, the Halloween announcement from Dean Cathy Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis) will impact the party that supports Chanel’s presidential campaign as well as the Wallace University.

The next episode is expected to explore more on the revelations involving “Scream Queens” character Gigi Caldwell (Nasim Pedrad) and the baby that was born in the bathtub at the KKT sorority house back in 1995. Grace and Pete has found out in the previous episode that the bathtub baby is a girl after talking to Mandy Greenwell, the survivor of the 1995 KKT sorority incident.

The previous episode’s ending scene has also revealed that Gigi is the haunted house’s resident called “The Hag of Shady Lane” and the KKT sorority member who took care of the bathtub baby. “Scream Queens” returns with episode 5 titled “Pumpkin Patch” on Tuesday night, Oct. 13, at 9/8c on FOX.
