The Samsung Galaxy S6 is expected to come out and replace the older Galaxy S5 at the beginning of 2015. However, this time around the Galaxy S6 will come with a refreshing new design. It will feature a full metal body with plastic at front.

PhoneArena claims that the two major changes Samsung fans will notice on the Galaxy S6 is the aluminum construction and the colored front of the handset. All the predecessor models came with uninspiring plastic chassis and it will also be the first time to see a flagship smartphone with a coloured front.

PhoneArena states that the new Galaxy S6 image that has surfaced shows a bright fluorescent yellow colouring on the front. It also says that Samsung may have decided to feature the Galaxy S6 with a 5.5-inch sized display screen. PhoneArena says that the display of the Galaxy S6 device codenamed as SM-G430 will support full HD resolution and will be powered by Snapdragon 801 chipset. If this is true information, Samsung may launch the Galaxy S6 as an upper-mid-range handset. Also, if it features an older Snapdragon 801 processor, it will fall short of flagship smartphone expectation, says PhoneArena.

According to PhoneArena, rumours are rife that Samsung may go ahead and launch another smartphone alongside the Galaxy S6. The other flagship handset is expected to appear like the Galaxy Note Edge. It will be premium handset that may come with a 5.3-inch AMOLED display panel with support for quad HD resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels.

The premium edition of Galaxy S6 is speculated to come with a Snapdragon 810 chipset and 4 GB of RAM. It is also expected to feature iris scanner, a much awaited feature that is yet to arrive on a Samsung flagship smartphone.

Though the Samsung Galaxy S5 came with powerful specs and features, it failed to attract the audience and ended up with poor sales record. As of this writing, Samsung has not confirmed anything on the specifications of the Galaxy S6 and rolling out a curved display variant of the Galaxy S6. What do you think about the Galaxy S6 and is its curved display sibling? Do let us know your thoughts through comments.
