Kate Middleton's fashion style during public appearances has been under public scrutiny since she married Prince William. Now that the Duchess of Cambridge rarely appears due to her delicate pregnancy, Zara Phillips managed to steal the fashion limelight from her during the Magic Millions horseracing event in Australia.

The eldest grandchild of Queen Elizabeth caught the public's attention with her simple light floral dress and a beige fascinator adorning her golden hair. Zara's stylish attire perfectly fits the event as well the warm temperature in Australia as she presented the "Fashion on the Field" award to an elegantly dressed female attendee.

"Magic Millions" is a program intended to increase the image of female jockeys, trainers and owners in Australia. As the ambassador and a keen horsewoman herself, the 31-year-old Olympic medal winner and Royal member became the perfect choice to support the cause.

In her speech, Zara Phillips gave words of advice on how to dress for the races after years of experience. "My best tip for ladies going to the races would just be to wear a great hat and some comfy shoes," Phillips stated. However, the high heels she wore that day contradict her own advice.

At the event, Zara Phillips was spotted mingling well with the guests such as Katie Page-Harvey, the wife of Australian entrepreneur Gerry Harvey. The stunning Zara Phillips had a chance to open up about her Royal life and passion for horse riding. "It's better for my sponsors that I am a royal because my name is more noticed than anyone else's," Phillips told an Australian newspaper.

Meanwhile, the world will just have to patiently wait for Kate Middleton make an appearance with her Royal baby bump. The Duchess of Cambridge will certainly impress with her fashion style as she dresses herself up in maternity clothes.
