"Twilight" fans may have something to be in rage for or would it be "The Hunger Games" tributes that have something to say?

Rumor has it, Robert Pattinson has been cast as the tribute from District 4, Finnick Odair. Robert's close ties with Francis Lawrence, newly appointed director for "Catching Fire", may be the reason behind the casting. How true are the rumors?

Director Gary Ross had done a fairly awesome job in creating the world of Panem and the Hunger Games on the big screen last March. While a few are still questioning his sudden decision on leaving, a new Director for the sequel "Catching Fire" has already been chosen.

Francis Lawrence's notable films include "Water for Elephants", "Constantine" and "I Am Legend". The renowned director has also been behind the music videos for Britney Spears, Lady Gaga and Beyoncé's hit songs. The 41-year old has been dubbed as the perfect choice to create the world of "Catching Fire" not only by his fans, but by Producer Nina Jacobson as well.

"From the very beginning of this brilliant trilogy's journey from page to screen, our first priority has been to stay true to the heart and soul of Suzanne Collins' powerful stories. From my first conversation with Francis, I knew he would make a great partner for both me and Suzanne," shared Producer Nina Jacobson in an interview.

"His passion for 'Catching Fire' and inspired ideas for a faithful adaptation make him the perfect director for this movie. I know this will be a wonderful collaboration and I cannot wait to get started."

Though "Catching Fire" is slated for a 2013 release, fans of Suzanne Collins best-selling novels are discovering the possibilities of potential actors to make it to the cast. Finnick Odair, Johanna Mason, Beetee, Mags and Wiress are just a few major characters in the books that require talented actors and actresses to portray them.

Yet, rumor has it, the actor to play Finnick Odair has already been filled out and he is none other than "Twilight's'" Robert Pattinson. Pattinson had worked with Director Francis Lawrence in the film "Water for Elephants," so it is no surprise that Lawrence would sign him up for "Catching Fire".

A few tweets had been sent out yesterday announcing Robert Pattinson cast as Finnick Odair. Fans of "The Hunger Games" have been on an outrage at the sound of the news.

Luckily, there has been no credibility behind the rumors and the tweets were found fake. It will be around December by the time the real cast behind the characters are announced, which would give fans enough time to root for their own "tributes".
