Both the PS4 and the Xbox One have been receiving useful system updates to keep the consoles up to date with community-requested features. Just recently, Sony rolled out the PS4 2.5 system update, while Xbox One users on the preview program have started exploring the April system update.

However, even the latest updates for both consoles are not encompassing in terms of dealing with the issues. They either bring new issues or leave ones that are still unresolved.

On the PS4, “Bloodborne” players may be feeling an issue with the PS4 2.5 firmware update. According to VG 24/7, one user experienced having “Bloodborne” day one patch reinstall on his PS4 after the update 2.5 hit the PS4. Afterwards, the player can’t continue playing “Bloodborne” and cannot even load the previous save.

Thankfully, there is still a fix for this. The player needs to start a new game in “Bloodborne” and once the level begins, go back to the main menu, and see the ability to load the save file back up and running.

On the Xbox One, members of the preview program have already started sending in feedback for the Xbox One April system update. DualShockers reports that the fixes that came with the smaller update will target the robotic voice that occurs in party chat and the adjustment of the time that the Achievement notification appears onscreen.

During the course of the Xbox One April System update preview, Microsoft has also noticed some new issues, which will get fixes in a future update. For those who are unable to speak in a party, there are two workarounds already found. The first is to drop from the party and ask to be invited again, and the other is to disband the party and create a new one. Another issue that already has a workaround is when a player can’t hear audio when playing back a voice message preview. The workaround methods include either sending the message without a preview or recording the voice message again.

Speaking of Xbox One bugs, Gamepur has spotted one bug that involves the “Zoo Tycoon” title. According to the report, this bug has remained unfixed for quite some time. What it does is that it will keep “Zoo Tycoon” in the Xbox One console’s dashboard, regardless if it has been uninstalled or not. As seen in the screenshot in the link above, it will have a “Ready to install” notification, though nothing changes after clicking on it.

It appears that the only way to resolve this is to conduct a factory reset. That or have games saved in an external hard drive. The report states that this has remained quite the problem for those who are dealing with data cap or those with Xbox One at lower speeds.
