The troubles of Drake Carne will continue in “Poldark” season 3 episode 6. The preview video shows George setting a trap for the young man, and he is eager to hang him. However, Ross will intervene and give the Warleggan an ultimatum. The following article contains spoilers.

Even though Morwenna (Ellise Chappell) has categorically told Drake (Harry Richardson) that she doesn’t love him, the young man finds it hard to believe her. He will meet with her again in the next episode to ascertain the truth. Morwenna still refuses to acknowledge the love she feels.

Drake’s visits can’t go unnoticed for too long. When George (Jack Farthing) finds out about it, he will decide to set a trap for Drake. Demelza’s (Eleanor Tomlinson) brother will get caught and will wait for his punishment in jail.

George is intent on hanging Drake, but Ross (Aidan Turner) will not allow that. The miner will pay the magistrate a visit and give him an ultimatum. Ross warns that if Drake is hanged, the people of the town will rise up. The magistrate is already unpopular, thanks to the way he protects the interests of the wealthy with the aim to climb the social ladder.

There is also bad news for Geoffrey Charles (Harry Marcus). He has been accepted at a boarding school, and he will have to start packing his bags soon.

Meanwhile, Dwight Enys (Luke Norris) is suffering from some Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Caroline (Gabriella Wilde) is concerned about what’s happened to her husband.

“Poldark” season 3 episode 6 promises a big clash between George and Ross. The good-hearted miner currently considered a candidate for parliament wants to avoid an uprising. The magistrate, however, considers this an idle threat. Will George heed the advice? Or will his ambition and jealousy get the better of him?
