'One Big Happy' Star Kelly Brook Denies She Is A Lesbian

“One Big Happy” star Kelly Brook clarifies that she is not a lesbian. She also said to be in a relationship with a man will be easy for her, but only if she desires.

In an interview with Mirror UK, Kelly Brook was asked to clarify rumours of her being a lesbian. The actress found the question so hilarious that she cracked up, saying that the allegations are impossible. She decided to provide some evidence of why this is not possible. The actress, who shares an apartment with her model friend, Natalie Loren, implied that what goes on in their home will not qualify as what lesbians would do. "If you could be a fly on the wall there, you’d know it couldn’t be further from the truth. It’s absolutely hilarious,” the 35-years old actress said.

The actress, however, said she is not in a relationship right now because work takes up a huge chunk of her time. NBC’s “One Big Happy” is her big break, after 20 years of struggling to make it in the industry. She added that playing “Prudence” on the show, was a dream come true for her. She added that she came from a working class background and only realised she wanted to be an actress when she watched “Fame.”

However, becoming an actress was not easy for her, so she had to dabble on modelling jobs first, which she did not regret. She recognised the work as a means to an end. She also credited her father for her work ethics. Her father is a grafter and worked day in and out in order to provide for them. Even though modeling was not something she was passionate about, it was something she knew she could do well and bring in the money. The now household name shared that at 16, everyone was telling her she could model. That, and fueled by her mother asking her to move out pushed her to do some few photoshoots, which eventually turned her into a glamour model.

Meanwhile, “One Big Happy” is also raking in positive views. It is currently included in NBC’s Top 10 shows for the season. Even with such wide acceptance, however, Movie News Guide shared that there is a high chance that the show would still be cancelled because its ratings is not high as expected.
