Wide receiver Percy Harvin is staying in New York but is on his way to the Buffalo Bills and will reportedly sign a one-year contract with the team. Earlier in the 2015 offseason of the National Football League, or NFL, Harvin was released by previous team New York Jets, which he played for just half a season in 2014.

The Harvin to Buffalo update is being reported by Adam Schefter, NFL Insider for ESPN.com. The deal is for just one year and the amount of contract is unstated.

Earlier this March, the Bills acquired star running back LeSean McCoy from the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for inside linebacker Kiko Alonso. Harvin will be the third receiver in the team after wide receivers Chris Hogan and Justin Brown agreed to one year deals earlier in the offseason. Harvin going to Buffalo means a reunion with new Bills head coach Rex Ryan, who handled the Jets from 2009 to 2014.

Harvin played under Ryan for eight games after being traded from the Seattle Seahawks, Harvin’s team in 2013 and 2014. Harvin also played for the Minnesota Vikings from 2009 to 2014 after being drafted by the team as the 22nd overall pick in the 2009 NFL Draft. Harvin was considered as one of the rising wide receivers in the league but he did not expectations in any of his previous teams. For his career, he has 3,802 receiving yards on 332 receptions with 21 rushing touchdowns. Harvin is also a threat on the run recording 885 career rushing yards and 4,019 kick return yards with 5 return touchdowns.
