Reggie Wayne is reportedly drawing the interest of several NFL teams after his previous team, the Indianapolis Colts have announced in early March that they won’t be bringing back the veteran wide receiver.

Reggie Wayne, who plans to play a 15th and final season in the NFL, stated that he’s excited about being a free agent and a chance to play for another NFL squad.

"It's something I'm excited about. I really am. I guess in due time we'll figure out where it is. I want to finish how I know I can finish," the 36-year-old Wayne said to ESPN.com. "It's weird 'cause this is one of my best years as far as being in the best shape that I've been in a while. It's coming along great."

Last season, Wayne logged in 779 receiving yards on 64 catches with two touchdowns in 15 regular season games for the Colts. He played in three games in the playoffs but registered only 12 receiving yards on a single reception. For his entire NFL career, he has 14,345 receiving yards in 1,070 receptions with 82 touchdowns.

Wayne, who was the 30th overall pick in the 2001 draft, has made the NFL Pro Bowl squad six times in his career, from 2006 to 2009, 2010 and 2012. He is also a member of the NFL All-Pro First Team in 2010 and a two-time NFL All-Pro Second Team in 2007 and 2009.

Wayne was part of the Colts champion team that won Super Bowl XLI in 2007, when the WR was the NFL receiving yards’ leader.

The veteran wide receiver is coming off a torn triceps surgery in the 2015 offseason but stated that he is aiming to be healthy for the upcoming NFL season.
