The world is still recovering from the shock of the election of a non-European pope in the person of Argentinean Cardinal Jorge Martin Bergoglio, but the meme makers are not to be left behind.

Just hours after Sistine Chapel's chimney emitted white smoke and a French cardinal said, "Habemus Papam! - Pope Francis," pope memes started to be posted on the Internet.
