With the iPhone 5s almost six months old, rumours are now gathering about the next-generation iPhone, which should be called the iPhone 6.

Thus far nothing is official until Tim Cook takes the stage later this year to unveil the much anticipated device of the year. As leaks, rumours and news abound, the latest leak compared the completely redesigned iPhone 6 vs. iPhone 5s.

Every year, third-party companies that manufactures protective cases for iPhones try to get ahead of the competition by getting hands on leaked schematics for the upcoming iPhones and designing cases for the device before it is unveiled and launched to the public. Now, they are also leaking photos of iPhone 6 mock-ups based on leaked schematics.

Over the past weeks, there have been a number of iPhone 6 dummies leak but the most revealing were shown by the Italian blog Macitynet.it. Last week, the Web site posted the first iPhone 6 dummy and compared it to the Samsung Galaxy S5 in a video. This time another video was posted comparing the iPhone 6 vs. iPhone 5s. Notably, the iPhone 6 dummy revealed in the Web site has been touting aligns well with other leaks in the Internet. However, although the photos match the designs in earlier leaked schematics, this does not guarantee the authenticity of the leak.

In the leaked photos and videos, it appears that the iPhone 6 has been completely redesigned as it looks different from the iPhone 5s. The new iPhone 6 is significantly thinner and early rumours suggest that it will be the thinnest smartphone when it will be launched this year.

According the famous and reliable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the next-generation iPhone 6 will sport a larger 4.7 inches display, improved processor, thinner design and NFC. Kuo believes that the iPhone 6 will launch Q3 this year and a bigger phablet iPhone will follow to debut sometime in the fourth quarter, also this year.
