“My Kitchen Rules” judge Pete Evans’ fiancée is already married to another woman. According to a new report, Nicola Robinson is romantically involved with fellow Kiwi Sally Ridge, although their relationship is perhaps just best described as close friendship.

According to Woman’s Day, the former swimsuit model, who was known as Nicky Watson, calls reality TV star Sally her wife. Both women have matching “marriage tattoo” on their toes that “signify their circle of everlasting love and devotion,” an insider claimed, adding that Nicola and Sally tell everyone they are married.

39-year-old Nicola and 45-year-old Sally met in 2000 when their former husbands, Matthew Ridge and Eric Watson, introduced them together. Although both have since left their husbands, their friendship only grew stronger. Even when Nicola had an affair with Matthew, Sally’s ex-husband, her spiritual connection with the older woman still persists.

Both have also declared their love for one another in separate interviews. Nicola told New Zealand Woman’s Day in 2011 that their love is “unconditional,” while Sally has vowed nothing will ever come between them.

Apparently, their “unconventional relationship” has caused Pete, 42, to question his own relationship with Nicola. “Pete likes to be the alpha male, and he doesn’t like it when his position as top dog is threatened — especially by a woman,” the source told the magazine.

But it’s highly likely the report just blew up a great friendship. New Zealand Herald has scoffed at the Australian magazine’s claim, saying that Nicola and Sally have been close friends for more than 10 years.

Pete has also declared his love for Nicola. He proposed to the Kiwi socialite in 2014, calling Nicola his “partner in everything.” They started dating in 2011.

Pete and Nicola are also advocates of the Paleo diet. The MKR chef and restaurateur has recently been bombarded with criticisms from health organisations in Australia for co-authoring a baby cookbook that includes a potentially fatal recipe for infants. Publisher Pan MacMillan has already cancelled the release of “Bubba Yum Yum: The Paleo Way,” but the celebrity chef and co-authors Helen Padarin and Charlotte Carr have decided to release the book digitally.
