The stunning beauties belted out Miss World theme song, "Light the Passion, Share the Dream." The presidents of the organisations also gave formal speeches.

The contestants reportedly enjoyed the gala, as they were treated to a delicious lunch spread. "Seeing all of the amazing work the organization has done through videos and speeches and being treated to a fabulous lunch and great entertainment -- I couldn't have asked for anymore," Miss United States said, according to Miss World.

One of the most inspiring talks of the day came from Variety ambassador Matt King OBE. He was left disabled, after an injury, while playing a sport. He shared his experience and thanked Variety for supporting him. Matt's speech left onlookers in a sombre state.
