In September 2014, Microsoft apparently announced the Lumia 735 smartphone. However, the tech giant did not release the handset in the U.S. But now, a new report states that, the Lumia 735 has been spotted in the FCC database.

Apparently, Verizon will soon release the Microsoft Lumia 735 under its network. It is worth noting that, this Lumia version is being sold in other countries with a Nokia branding, however, when the device gets released in the U.S., it will flaunt a Microsoft logo instead, notes Phone Arena. In any case, there’s no information available to ascertain if Verizon’s Lumia 735 will come with any carrier specific alterations when compared to the international variant.

Therefore, here is a list of Microsoft Lumia 735 specifications and features seen in the international variant, with the hope that the configurations could be same. The Lumia 735 features a pocket-friendly 4.7-inch OLED display packed with 720 x 1,280 (HD) pixels screen resolution. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a quad-core (Qualcomm Snapdragon 400) Cortex-A7 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz and backed by a modest 1 GB of RAM configuration.

When it comes to memory specification, the Lumia 735 comes equipped with 8 GB of in-built storage space along with the support for microSD card slot for further expansion up to 128 GB. As far as the camera goes, the handset sports a 6.7 MP rear-facing unit with Carl Zeiss lens, LED flash and an aperture of f/1.9. In addition, there is also a gracious 5 MP front-facing snapper unit with an aperture of f/2.4 on board. With a powerful front-facing camera unit, this budget-friendly device is a selfie enthusiast’s dream device. Plus, the whole configuration is powered by a good Li-Ion 2,200 mAh battery unit, which is capable of giving up to 17 hours of 3G talk time and 600 hours of stand-by time. To top it off, the Lumia 735 comes with Wireless Charging (Qi-enabled) feature.

On the other hand, Phone Arena says, Microsoft reportedly announced in April that the Lumia 735 will receive the latest Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2. However, there is no official information available to confirm if the device will come with the latest version of Windows OS straight out of the box.
