A new Lumia smartphone is reportedly being tested in India by Microsoft. The Indian import/export tracker Website called Zauba has reportedly showcased the imported Microsoft handset with model number RM-1127.

According to NPU, the upcoming Lumia device with model number RM-1127 will reportedly carry a pocket-friendly 4.7-inch display. The site also says this device is a single SIM variant. Speaking of price, the testing unit will reportedly set the buyers back by $71 equivalent. Plus, the database shows a total of two Lumia units shipped to India. Furthermore, the listing also reportedly indicates that the handsets are tied to false IMEI numbers as they are nothing but testing units and not the final product from the OEM, notes Phone Arena.

On the other hand, Microsoft has apparently been focusing on entry-level to mid-range Lumia devices for quite some time now and the upcoming RM-1127 also looks like one such device. But then, readers should note that, a recent leak pointed to two upcoming high-end Lumia handsets. Interestingly, these devices are internally codenamed as Lumia Cityman and Lumia Talkman. To top it off, these handsets are believed to come with the new “Windows 10 for phones” on board.

As far as the Lumia Cityman specifications go, the handset will reportedly come with a humongous 5.7-inch display packed with 1,440 x 2,560 pixels screen resolution. Under the hood, the smartphone will be powered by an octa-core processor and backed by a good 3 GB of RAM unit.

Moving on to the Lumia Talkman specifications, the handset will apparently feature a relatively smaller 5.2-inch display. However, the 2K resolution of 1,440 x 2,560 pixels will reportedly be maintained in this phone as well. On the hardware end, an alleged hexa-core CPU will be powering the device. In the meantime, Phone Arena says, the Snapdragon 808 housed in the recently released LG G4 could be the SoC. When it comes to camera specification, both Lumia Cityman and Lumia Talkman will reportedly sport a killer 20 MP primary unit and a good 5 MP front-facing unit for selfies, notes Phone Arena. Nonetheless, Microsoft has not confirmed the upcoming Lumia handsets specifications thus far.
