Quarterbacks Peyton Manning and Tom Brady have met thirteen times in their careers. They meet for the 14th time Sunday night when the Denver Broncos visit the New England Patriots.

With Manning’s arm, the Broncos have one of the best offenses in the league with 350.4 passing yards per game (#1 in the NFL) and are tied for AFC’s best record with a 9-1 win-loss card.

They are working on another long winning streak, currently at three games, after recording six straight to start the regular season. Denver has beaten the Washington Redskins (45-21), San Diego Chargers (28-20) and Kansas City Chiefs (27-17) after losing their first game of the year in Week 7 against the Indianapolis Colts (39-33).

New England started off well too winning their first four games of the year but are just 3-3 in their last 6 games. The last game was a controversial 24-20 loss to the Carolina Panthers on Monday Night Football. The game officials waived off what initially was a pass interference penalty to virtually give the Patriots the loss.

Manning as 34 touchdowns in 10 games for the Broncos and he’s on pace to break the NFL single-season record of 50 touchdowns set by rival Brady in 2007. However, Brady holds the edge, 9-4 against Manning in all-time meetings.

Former Patriots wide receiver Wes Walker is expected to suit up for the game despite suffering various injuries in the last game. Welker, who leads the Broncos with 61 catches and 648 yards and nine touchdowns, played in New England from 2005 to 2012.

The Patriots have won the last three meetings with the Broncos and covered the spread in all of those games as well.
