Jennifer Lopez got emotional during the tribute for late Latina singer Selena at the Billboard Latin Music Awards on Thursday. J.Lo performed some songs of the late Latina singer with Selena's siblings.

The "Hit The Floor" singer sang Selena's greatest hit songs "I Could Fall in Love," "Como La Flor" and "No Me Queda Mas." The late Latina singer Selena Quintanilla-Perez's band Los Dinos joined J.Lo's performance. Los Dinos consists members Selena's siblings, Suzette and A.B., and her widower, Chris Perez.
During the performance, the "Booty" singer wore Selena-esque outfits. ET Online reports that at first, Jennifer appeared in stage wearing a jewelled crop top and pants with an overlay. She danced Selena's iconic "washing machine" move and then ripped off the top part of her outfit when she performed "Bidi Bidi Bom Bom." Overall, during the tribute to the late singer at Billboard Latin Music Awards, there were three wardrobe changes while Lopez was performing.
The "If You Had My Love" singer received standing ovation. After that performance, Lopez hugged the Los Dinos members before yelling, "We love you, Selena!"
Blast from the past, J.Lo got her break when she played the role of the late Selena Quintanilla-Perez for a biographical drama movie "Selana." According to US Magazine report, even two decades have passed, Selena's tragic death is not yet forgotten by fans. When Lopez sang the last greatest hit of Selena, she was in tears.
The "American Idol" judge was interviewed by Natalie Morales of Today's show. The judge told Morales about why Selena is still so important.
"There is only one Selena and there only ever will be. She's just one of those special types of artists that — with her music and her spirit and her heart — really touched people," Lopez said.
J.Lo admitted that the 1997 biopic film brought her fame at the age of 25.
