The synopsis of “How to Get Away with Murder” Season 2, episode 1 titled “It’s Time to Move On” teases on how professor and high-profile defense attorney Annalise Keating and her students act in response to the murders that happened in the pilot season. Professor and high-profile defense attorney Annalise Keating will work on a new case like nothing ever happened in the premiere episode of “How to Get Away with Murder” Season 2.

According to the synopsis in a Spoiler TV report, Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) and her top students called the “Keating Five” must move on with their lives as though no murders happened in “How to Get Away with Murder” Season 1. However, Annalise’s students – Wes Gibbins (Alfred Enoch), Connor Walsh (Jack Falahee), Asher Millstone (Matt McGorry), Michaela Pratt (Aja Naomi King) and Laurel Castillo (Karla Souza) – will reel over the disappearance of Rebecca Sutter (Katie Findlay).

The synopsis teased that Annalise and Frank are determined to find out who killed Rebecca after finding her dead body under the basement stairs of Annalise’s home and office in the pilot season’s finale episode. Meanwhile, Annalise will work on a new case as a way of moving on from the murders of her client Rebecca and her husband Sam Keating (Tom Verica).

Annalise will be defending her clients, a brother and sister, accused of murdering their parents. The synopsis further teased that an old friend will surprise Annalise at home and teaches her a valuable lesson.

“X-Men” actress Famke Janssen could be the old friend visiting Annalise in the premiere episode. Entertainment Weekly (EW) reports that Janssen has been cast to portray a revered defense attorney in “How to Get Away with Murder” Season 2

The viewers will get to meet the new character named Eve in the season premiere. The report further revealed that series creator Peter Nowalk shared an image of Janssen as the new HTGAWM character Eve on his Twitter account @petenowalk.
