When World No. 11 Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov get to travel with girlfriend Maria Sharapova and play the same tournaments, he revealed that she shares him tips and advice on how to approach the tournaments. However, Dimitrov opted not to give away the teachings that he receives from his tennis superstar girlfriend.

NDTV Sports reported how the royal couple of tennis get to talk about tennis whenever they get to travel together to play tournaments. Dimitrov revealed that it is a good thing to have Sharapova, who is a five-time grand slam champion, by his side.

“Obviously, it helps out,” Dimitrov chanted on the idea of having a grand slam champion as his girlfriend. “You never know, one tip can change everything for you, one sentence.”

According to the 24-year-old Bulgarian, it is a “plus” to have Sharapova. He added that he is thankful of the every bit of advice that she gives him, but he refused to elaborate about the philosophies that he gets from the 28-year-old Russian.

Both players are in London for the 2015 Wimbledon Championships. Dimitrov, whose bid to win his first grand slam trophy was halted by Frenchman Richard Gasquet 6-3 6-4 6-4 in the third round, said that he couldn’t watch the matches of her girlfriend as much as he would love to because he needs to make sure that he attends to his body.

Sharapova, on the other hand, revealed in the article that she makes sure that she makes time to watch some of the matches, even if they do not involve his boyfriend, to check out and see what the conditions on the court are.

Sharapova, who won his only Wimbledon trophy so far back in 2004 when she stunned then defending champion Serena Williams, is through to the fourth round after easing past in the early rounds. Sharapova has not dropped a set in the tournament. She will face Zarina Diyas of Kazakhstan in the last 16.

Dimitrov and Sharapova officially went public as a couple when they were spotting kissing in the streets of Madrid back in 2013, Womentennisblog reported. Dimitrov is Sharapova’s first relationship after calling off her engagement with professional basketball player Sasha Vujacic.
