The latest Google Nexus 6 concept image packs design and features similar to a phablet.

The new render was created by Vishal and sports a 5.7 inches Full HD 1080p screen display. According to Concept Phones, the Google Nexus 6 concept packs a 12 megapixel rear camera with Optical Imaging Stabilization and a 5 megapixel front facing camera with 4K video capture.

Under the hood, the Nexus 6 render comes with a 64-bit processor paired with 3GB of RAM. Unlike the previous Nexus smartphone, the Nexus 6 was speculated to come in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB storage variants.

Taiwan-based company HTC was the supposed manufacturer of the Nexus 6 concept image. Although it is still unconfirmed which third party mobile manufacturer will take the helm in lending a hand to Google in making the Nexus 6.

On the other hand, The Verge reported that Google will discontinue the Nexus line in lieu of more high-end devices dubbed as the "Android Silver" program. "Android Silver" will feature more expensive devices with bumped specs and features at par with top competitors in the market.

LG Mobile started to turn heads and garnered worldwide attention after it partnered with Google in creating the hugely popular Nexus 4 handset. The amicable and symbiotic relationship between the two tech companies yielded to a successor of the aforementioned smartphone - Nexus 5, which also had a great following.

Furthermore, rumours claimed that Google Nexus 6 will pack a 64-bit version of its Snapdragon 800-series chipset clocked at 3 GHz; 5.2-inch full-HD, curved LCD display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass; 3 GB RAM; 13 MP camera and a 5 MP front-facing camera; Bluetooth; NFC; Micro-USB; Wi-Fi; and 4G.

Grapevine stated that the handset will be released at Google's I/O Conference in June while other reports said that Google will wait for a full year and will launch the Nexus 5 successor in October or November.
