'Game of Thrones' Season 7: Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson teases behind-the-scenes picture

Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson has posted a selfie with his makeup on for “Game of Thrones” Season 7. The actor appears to be taking a break or may have completed filming his scenes, as he spends time in Paris.

Björnsson (Gregor ‘The Mountain’ Clegane) shared a picture of his face with the makeup on and asked his fans for a caption. The fans responded with some interesting, and funny takes on what the actor looked like in the picture.

“Hello darkness my old friend,” one fan wrote. “Constipation,” wrote another. “When you try to finish all your work in one night,” read one of the captions.

The picture may have been taken a while back, when the actor was on the set in Spain - filming. Björnsson is currently in Paris, and he shared a picture from his hotel room, in which he can be seen enjoying his breakfast that consisted of steak.

Björnsson had an interesting caption of his own when he last posted a picture of himself with makeup. The actor joked about being hung over in the post.

‘Game of Thrones’ Season 7: Gregor’s helmet

The actor had previously also shared a picture with his helmet on. This picture was taken in one of the production sets of the popular HBO TV series.

The fans are yet to see what exactly Gregor Clegane looks like under the helmet in the TV series. A behind-the-scenes picture Björnsson shared a few months back reveals what Oberyn Martell’s (Pedro Pascal) poison has done to the skin. The poison was so potent that the Mountain appears to have lost his ability to speak.

It is not clear if the fans will get to see what’s under the helmet of The Mountain in “Game of Thrones” Season 7. With all the major characters coming together next year, it will be interesting to see if Sandor Clegane (Rory McCann) will meet his brother again, and what his reaction will be if he does.
