Jon Snow (Kit Harington) cannot let Ygritte (Rose Leslie) go in real life. The two “Game of Thrones” actors have finally made their relationship official by stepping out hand in hand at the Olivier Awards in London on Sunday. Yes, there will be a few heartbreaks as women love Jon Snow and now he is officially taken.

The two dazzled on the red carpet, clearly smitten with each other. They smiled and giggled in front of the camera as they made their public debut as a couple. “Game of Thrones” fans will be happy to see the adored onscreen couple romance in real life. Their onscreen fiery relationship was much talked about.

It's not as if their romance came as a surprise to all though. Harington and Leslie got together in 2012 and broke up a year later. In 2014, the two were again spotted together, naturally sparking romance rumours. In late January 2016, the two were caught packing on the PDA during a shopping trip in Los Angeles.

In fact, their co-star and the Queen of Mereen, Emilia Clarke, even approved of their romance.

“My goodness! You know, we like to spread the love on our show. It's a beautiful thing. She's one of my best friends, so it's good,” Clarke told ET at the SAG Awards 2016 .

Last year in March, Harington revealed his love for “redheads.” All of these were clues through which it was possible to predict that the two were back together. At least it was way easier than predicting Jon Snow’s fate in “Game of Thrones” Season 6.

[Spoiler Alert] Maybe Snow is actually dead. Hence, Harington and Leslie decided to make their relationship public, knowing very well he will have enough time for Leslie. Harington has fiercely defended the fact that his character will return in Season 6 only as a corpse and nothing else.

“Game of Thrones” Season 6 returns April 24. It will premiere on showcase on Foxtel Australia on April 25.
