On Wednesday, characters in the NBC soap opera "Days Of Our Lives" (“DOOL”) get dressed to the nines for the relaunch of Basic Black in time for New Year’s Eve. The spotlight will be on Theresa (Jen Lilley), as she proves that she could be a worthy fashion designer.

The upcoming “DOOL” episode will also feature Nicole (Arianne Zucker), Kate (Lauren Koslow), Ava (Tamara Braun), Fynn (Alexander Bruszt), Joey (James Lastovic), Abigail (Kate Mansi), Belle (Martha Madison), Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) and Chad (Billy Flynn).

TV Guide reports that on Wednesday’s episode of “DOOL,” Joey gets jealous when he sees Ava with a date at a party, while Abigail learns something shocking about Thomas. Elsewhere, Theresa gets to relish her shining moment during the relaunch of Basic Black on New Year’s Eve.

The Dec. 30 episode continues from the chaotic incidents in previous episodes. Theresa was kicked off the fashion show by Kate after an argument between them. Kate replaced Theresa with a French fashion designer whose taste is geared towards flamboyant and colorful styles. When asked to wear the new designer’s dresses, Paul and Gabi protested and said they want to walk with Theresa’s line. Nicole stepped in to save the day, and told Kate that the whole event will be scrapped if Kate continues with her attitude. Nicole also gave Kate an ultimatum: it’s either Theresa’s designs or nothing at all. Kate finally relented, and Nicole went over to Theresa to share the good news.

“Days Of Our Lives” airs daily at 1 pm on NBC and 8 pm on POP.
