The six remaining couples in “Dancing With The Stars” will dance to “America’s Choice” on Week 8 of Season 20 on May 4. Besides, this week will also witness the “Trio Challenge” where a particular pair will be joined by another professional dancer. All the pairs will perform two routines each as the show is nearing its finale which is on May 19. This apart, at the end of the results night on May 5, two couples will face elimination, according to ABC.

The “Eras Night” on Week 7 witnessed a shocking elimination with Willow Shields and Mark Ballas given the boot. Even after tying for second place with a 37 out of 40 and winning their dance off against Riker Lynch and Allison Holker, the duo were eliminated for their futuristic jazz routine. The consistently high-scoring couples Willow and her pro partner Mark and Rumer Willis and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy were in jeopardy.

Derek Hough couldn’t dance due to his injuries. But there was a positive to the entire night as Derek’s partner Nastia Liukin and her new stand-in partner Sasha Farber earned the highest score with 38 points. The couple along with Derek performed on the backdrop of an elaborate subway set with Andy Grammer performing “Honey I'm Good” live. Derek also incorporated himself into the routine, while Nastia earned immunity from elimination.

Let us see who is dancing what styles, the songs and the trio partners for Week 8:

This is the sixth time that DWTS has incorporated the “Trio Challenge” into the show. Interestingly, Derek and Val are the only professionals who have competed in all the six challenges. It’s the first Trio Challenge for Allison, Jenna and Brittany. This apart, it would be interesting to watch the paso dobles by Nastia and Rumer and Riker’s jazz trio.

The result night will start off with a special contemporary dance performance by Travis Wall’s “Shaping Sound” that features Maddie Ziegler and Ryker Lynch’s partner Allison Holker and Jenna Johnson. Later in the night, Josh Groban will sing “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” and Carly Rae Jepsen will perform her hit single “I Really Like You.” Dance Centre is back with Len Goodman and Jerry Rice and Kenny Mayne. Tune in to ABC at 8 p.m. every Monday and Tuesday from now onwards to watch the show.
