A new promo video of the upcoming boxing film “Creed 2” has been released online. The video shows the merciless training of the antagonist Viktor Drago (Florian Munteanu).

The trailers that have been released online so far show the story from the eyes of Adonis (Michael B. Jordan). There are only hints about the new villain and what he is capable of. Rocky (Sylvester Stallone) knows the Russian adversary has grown up in an atmosphere of hate, which makes him a really dangerous opponent.

The new trailer [see below] gives the fans a glimpse into the life of Viktor. The Russian is the son of Ivan Drago (Dolph Lundgren), who previously fought and killed Adonis’ father in the ring. The trailer shows the new villain to be quite capable in delivering a knockout blow or worse.

Viktor trains hard every time at the gym, but that’s not the only place he trains. The villain likes to go out into the streets and run, just like Rocky likes to do. His each punch is vicious, and his eyes are full of intensity.

The trailer also teases some high drama at a press conference. This was common practice even when Adonis’ father was the champion. There may be a lot of emotional turmoil before the final match between the two boxers, as Adonis will not only have to think about his career, but also his family life in the movie.

“Creed 2” has been directed by Steven Caple Jr., who is known for directing the film “The Land” and TV shows like “Class,” “Grown-ish,” and “Rapture.” The screenplay of the upcoming film has been written by Stallone and Juel Taylor.

The cast members of the film include Tessa Thompson (Bianca), Russell Hornsby (Buddy Marcelle), Phylicia Rashad (Mary Anne Creed), and Wood Harris (Tony ‘Little Duke’ Burton).
