Married couple Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan is now blessed with their first child. A representative has confirmed the pregnancy news in a released statement.

"Jenna and Channing are pleased to announce that they are expecting the birth of their first child next year," the couple's representative told People.com.

The "People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive" revealed his excitement about being a father. In November, he has stated the desire of having three children as the couple expands their family.

"I'm ready, I think she's ready. The first number that pops into my head is three, but I just want one to be healthy and then we'll see where we go after that," the 32-year-old actor said.

"It's really easy for us guys to say, 'I want like 15 kids', Jenna will be like, 'Well, you better get another wife!'" Tatum jokingly shared.

In an interview with Beauty High, Jenna Dewan talked about how she and her husband work hard to keep their relationship strong. "We have just a really honest, truthful relationship that it just works. You know, we make it work. We put a lot of time into it," Dewan stated.

Channing Tatum catapulted to Hollywood stardom after starring in numerous successful movies such as "Step Up," "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra," "21 Jump Street" and "Magic Mike." His wife, Jenna Dewan, has also had her fair share of on-screen success. The 32-year-old actress currently stars in the hit US TV show "American Horror Story."

Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan met on the movie set of "Step Up" in 2006. After 3 years of dating, the couple decided to tie the knot in Malibu.
