Country singer Carrie Underwood is breaking records with her newly released album “Storyteller.” The success of “Storyteller” has made Underwood the first female country music singer to debut all of her six albums at the number one position on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart. Her other no.1 albums are "Some Hearts" (2005), "Carnival Ride" (2007), "Play On" (2009), "Blown Away" (2012) and "Greatest Hits: Decade #1" (2014).

The Billboard Top Country Albums chart published by Billboard Magazine was started 51 years ago and Underwood is the first female country singer to achieve this feat. “Storyteller” is Carrie’s fifth studio album and was released on Oct. 23 via Sony Music Nashville. So far, “Storyteller” has sold 177,000 copies worldwide, according to Billboard.

The lead single of the album is "Smoke Break." The other songs in "Storyteller" are "Renegade Runaway," "Church Bells," "Dirty Laundry," "Heartbeat," "Like I'll Never Love You Again," "Choctaw County Affair," "What I Never Knew I Always Wanted," "Chaser," "Mexico," "Relapse," "The Girl You Think I Am" and "Clock Don't Stop."

Aside from the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart, Carrie's new album is also included in the Billboard 200 Chart where it sits on the second spot. It is also on the Top 4 of the Australian Recording Industry Association's (ARIA) Top 50 Albums Chart.

Underwood started her career by participating and winning in the singing reality show “American Idol” Season 4 in 2005. She then released her first single "Inside Your Heaven" on June 14, 2005.

Carrie will be co-hosting the 49th Annual Country Music Association Awards (CMA) Awards with Brad Paisley this Wednesday night at 8|7c on ABC-TV. The duo has been hosting the awards since 2008.

After the CMAs, Carrie Underwood will shift her focus to her upcoming tour “The Storyteller Tour — Stories in the Round.” The country singer announced on Oct. 27 that she will go on the said tour to promote her latest album. It is slated to start on Jan. 30, 2016 in Jacksonville, Florida. Tickets for this tour will be sold at www.aeglive.com from Friday onwards.
