Despite movement of interest now in the favour of the upcoming addition to the COD franchise, "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare," the 2013 title "Call of Duty: Ghosts" is not yet out of commission.

Following leaks of the supposed next DLC for "Call of Duty: Ghosts," which only featured three multiplayer maps, Infinity Ward and Activision has finally released confirmed details via a trailer of the Invasion DLC pack.

Major Nelson has announced this via his blog, given that the Invasion DLC will, again, debut first on the Xbox platform. And in the confirmed "Call of Duty: Ghosts" Invasion pack, there are four multiplayer maps and the third episode of Extinction mode.

First you have the Pharaoh map, where you are transported to ancient Egypt. This map includes flesh-eating scarabs, different rooms, temples and chambers, and Anubis, half-jackal and half-human. It's the perfect map for those who want close-combat.

The second map is Departed and it takes place in Mexico in time for the Dia de los Muertos, or the Day of the Dead. The festivities and expansive area will be the site for long-range firing, where the reward for completing Field Order will be the Death Mariachi killstreak. This takes advantage of the dead (literally) by turning the people you kill into your allies.

Mutiny is set in the league of pirates on the Caribbean, where narrow paths would be your main obstacle. You'd also be battling ghost pirates--and there's nothing transparent or non-deadly in their attacks.

The last map is Favela, which polishes the fan-favorite map found in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and it will transport players back to rural Brazil.

The teaser trailer also features the third episode of Extinction mode, titled "Awakening." According to the official "Call of Duty" web site, this third episode will bring you into the alien underworld, and bring in a discovery of who the puppet-masters are with the invasion. In the map, you'll be facing off against three new Cryptid species in addition to the previous enemies and allies.

Lastly, a release date of June 6 has also announced. As far as the other platforms are concerned, Infinity Ward and Activision are yet to give official statements.
