21-year-old star of MTV's Buckwild was found dead in a vehicle in West Virginia.

After Shain Gandee was reported missing by his family, his body was found dead on Monday in a rural area in West Virginia near the town of Sissonville. Gandee was found dead together with two other men including his uncle David.

"This is a very sad and tragic event. We live in a very small community. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Gandee family," County Commissioner Kent Carper told Reuters.

Gandee was one of the main casts of MTV's Buckwild which follows the lives of a group of young adults living in West Virginia. The show has received a lot of criticisms specifically each member's hard partying ways.

MTV released their statement and said that they were shocked by the tragic incident.

"We are shocked and saddened by the terrible news about Shain Gandee, and those involved in this tragic incident. We are waiting for more information but at this time, our main concern is for the Gandee family and their friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with them. Shain had a magnetic personality, with a passion for life that touched everyone he met and we will miss him dearly," said MTV in their statement.

The Kanawha County has not yet released any information about Gandee's cause of death; the third body is still yet to be identified. Family members of Gandee said that Shain and his uncle were last seen alive at about 3 a.m. on Sunday.

"The two said they were going four-wheeling in Shain's Ford Bronco. No one knows where they planned to ride, or the direction in which they left," said the sheriff's department.

Shain Gandee was considered one of the more popular casts of "Buckwild." With his crazy stunts and sunny disposition, he has earned the nickname, "Gandee Candy."
