This week ends with something intense brewing on “The Young and the Restless” following the ups and downs the entire cast has been through recently. New issues have surfaced and are brewing in this long-time-running American daytime soap opera.

Spoiler alert! This article contains “The Young and the Restless” spoilers. Read on if you would like to know what happens next before the new episode airs.

A spoiler post in Soaps She Knows gives a rough preview as to what can happen in the episode of “The Young and the Restless” which will happen on August 12, Friday.

First, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) starts getting more upset with Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson). Billy Abbot (Jason Thompson), on the other hand, gets closer to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). Lastly, Adam Newman (Justin Hartley) starts to ponder on what the future brings for him.

Victor’s issue with Chloe starts out when Victor told Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) about Chloe creeping into Adam’s home. She wondered why Adam mentioned that he was his only hope. After Victor leaves, he meet Chloe in the park and tells her that she is already getting on his nerves. He wants the diary pages from her and told her to get out of town. While this was going on, Dylan McAvoy (Steve Burton) spots them and, thus, confirms his suspicions. Victor is bound to explode and, perhaps, actually do some of his threats just to take her down, says a post in Celeb Dirty Laundry.

It is also revealed that Billy and Victoria’s new business arrangement, which is schemed by Jill Atkinson (Jess Walton) to reunite them, might actually work. Meanwhile, Adam ponders over what the future brings for him. Whether or not this is a necessary consequence of Justin Hartley taking a break from “The Young and the Restless” will be known once the show progresses further.

“The Young and the Restless” airs on CBS every Monday to Friday in the US. It also airs on Arena in Australia.
