Real-life images of Xiaomi Mi 6 and Mi 6 Plus flagship have leaked. There are two images of the phone, depicting the front and the rear side. The images have more or less confirmed another leak that surfaced on Friday, the only difference being in colour.

The leaked Mi 6 Plus images show almost zero side bezels, relatively-thin front bezels and a glossy black finish. There is a physical Home button at the front that may house the fingerprint scanner. Surprisingly, there is no sign of the fingerprint scanner on the rear. However, what is present on the rear side of the device is the dual-camera setup along with dual-LED flash. It is strongly believed that Xiaomi Mi 6 will sport two 12MP cameras with Sony IMX362 sensors, though there is still some doubt regarding the sensors.

Earlier rumours suggested that the Mi 6 Plus will sport a 5.7-inch display panel with a Full HD resolution. Screen resolution could be 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. The handset may be released in 6GB and 8GB versions, though the base set may come with a 4GB RAM. The handsets will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset. Internal storage capacities of the smartphones will be 64GB, 128GB and 256GB, as reported by AndroidHeadlines. The front camera of the device will be of 8MP.

The smartphone will run the latest version of the Android Nougat OS out-of-the-box, and will be powered by a 4,500 mAh non-removable battery. The smartphone-maker is expected to unveil all the variants of Xiaomi Mi 6 and Mi 6 Plus by mid-April. The Mi 6 Plus could have a starting price of US$377 (AU$500 approx). The premium variant may command a price of US$500 (AU$660 approx). The Xiaomi Mi 6 front panel leak suggests white and black colour variants. The Home button is a bit larger and oval-shaped than the Mi Mix.

The smartphone will come with an Iris scanner, at least the hole beside the front camera suggests so. The 3.5mm headphone jack is missing. The device is expected to be dust-resistant and water-proof. Another interesting feature, as suggested by the recent leak, is the 4,000 mAh battery for the 5.15-inch Mi6 handset. The Xiaomi Mi 6 may also sport an 8MP front camera. The leaked white box shows a different Mi 6 variant with 2.5D glass. The RAM and storage also get axed to 3GB and 64GB.

Moreover, instead of a 30MP rear shooter, it has a 12MP camera, as previously mentioned. The front camera is a 4MP ultra-pixel shooter, and the battery capacity is only 3,200 mAh. Thus, it can be safe to say that the white box hosts the base model, whereas the black box has the premium one or the Pro version. Stay tuned on IBT AU for more updates on the Xiaomi Mi 6.
