Westpac, one of Australia’s four major banks, has invested in a new banking centre in Rocklea.

Westpac’s brand new Rocklea Business Banking Centre is the latest in the bank’s multimillion dollar commitment to serving its clientele.

Westpac Head of Commercial Banking Rocklea Michael Robertson said that the bank’s investment in opening its new Business Banking Centre at Level 1, 1311 Ipswich Road, Rocklea was proof that Westpac is serious in supporting business customers.

“Our new Business Banking Centre demonstrates Westpac’s commitment to supporting Australian businesses. If you are looking to grow your company or reposition your business to take advantage of new opportunities then we are there for you,” Mr Robertson said.

Lord Mayor of Brisbane Graham Quirk joined Mr Robertson, Mayor of Ipswich Cr Paul Pisasale, Westpac Queensland State General Manager Greg Crocombe, Westpac staff, local customers and businesses from the Rocklea and surrounding community to celebrate the opening.

Westpac now has more than 70 Business Banking Centres, 185 dedicated small business branches and more than 460 Local Business Bankers.
