Netflix announced on April 15 that it ordered a fourth season of "Orange Is The New Black" to be released in 2016. The news comes two months before the premiere of the third season of the hit show on June.

"In June we’re going to go back to work. Netflix just let us know we’re going to be doing a new season.” Uzo Aduba, who plays who plays Suzanne “Crazy Eyes” Warren, told "Good Morning America," according to ABC. The actress added that season 4 is now the "new news."

The actress also said that she thinks the series has been so successful because people saw a "lot of themselves in it." "Orange Is The New Black" has won more than 20 awards, including two GLAAD Media Awards and three Emmy Awards. The Netflix show has also won a Peabody Award and a Television Critics’ Association Award.

The Emmy Award winning actress told George Stephanopoulos that the show was not "exclusively" about the prisoners. Aduba added that the inmates were "mothers, daughters, sisters" and that people could relate to the challenges of trying to make it through the day. She also said that the series shows that "good people can make mistakes."

Aduba then previewed the season 3 first look. The clip features Crazy Eyes, Samira Wiley as Poussey, Danielle Brooks as Taystee, Adrienne C. Moore as Black Cindy. The characters are shown discussing the fate of Vee (Lorraine Toussaint). While Poussey thinks that Vee is dead, Crazy Eyes says that Vee is alive and well. (Watch the video below.)

"Orange Is The New Black," based on the memoir by Piper Kerman, is about an upper-class woman who's sentenced to prison after running drungs for a friend. Taylor Schilling stars as Piper Chapman in the lead role. The cast also includes Laverne Cox, who's been the breakout star of the show, Laura Prepon, Kate Mulgrew, Uzo Aduba and Natasha Lyonne.

Jason Bigg will not be returning as Larry Bloom this season. The "American Pie" actor told the Huffington Post that his character is not so important, that he was neither in prison nor a woman. However, Biggs did not rule out the possibility of returning back saying that he would return "in a heartbeat."

The new season of "Orange is the New Black" will be premiere in Netflix on June 12.
