Author Stephenie Meyer is celebrating the tenth anniversary of the release of her best-selling novel, “Twilight” in a special way by releasing a new edition of the book. The new book, released by publisher Little, Brown, will have exclusive bonus content from the best-selling novel and will also see Meyer participate in its promotion in the coming months.

The special tenth anniversary edition of the book will be out on Oct. 6 and will see Meyer promote it at the upcoming New York Comic-Con and other book signing events in the next few months, E! News reports.

“It’s amazing to me that ten years have passed since 'Twilight' was first published,” Meyer said in a statement, according to E! News. “For me, this anniversary is a celebration of the fans, with all of their incredible passion and dedication. I’m excited to get to spend time with them again.”

Megan Tingley, the public and EVP of Little, Brown Books for Young Readers also added that she is as thrilled to release this book as she was when she first read the manuscript a decade ago. Tingley is pleased to give her fans this “extraordinary Twilight experience” with the new content of the book. She is also hopeful that the new generation of readers will also like this book.

“Twilight” was first published in 2005 and later adapted into a movie, which features actors Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson as Bella Swan and Edward Cullen as a human-vampire couple. The book became New York Times best-seller and the film was also equally successful with a huge fan following. The success of the film can also be attributed to the real life romance of Stewart and Pattinson, who were also known as 'Robsten' to their fans.
