"Tiny Tina's Wonderlands" is being developed by Gearbox, the same team that made "Borderlands." In fact, the game is a spinoff or some kind of a continuation of "Borderlands 2: Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep." Fans, however, should not expect Eridian artifacts or Vault Keys in the game.

Although the popular formula of D&D style with a twist is anticipated. During the E3 2021 showcase, Kayla Belmore, the game's senior producer said the game has a standalone plot. In other words, gamers who have not yet played "Borderlands" do not need to play it to understand the spinoff's narrative.

Goblins, wyverns and other villains of Tiny Tina will also be present in the upcoming title. The game's trailer also confirmed the return of But Stallion in the standalone project. Fans can expect more fantasy elements in the spinoff instead of the typical sci-fi offering from "Borderlands."

The game is also anticipated to feature a campaign, four-player coop and a lot of endgame content. New gameplay elements will also be introduced. This includes amulets, armor, melee weapons and spells that serve as mini-skills.

It has also been confirmed that "Tiny Tina's Wonderlands" would feature "repeatable end-game content." Players would reportedly be able to create their own characters in the upcoming title.

"Tiny Tina's Wonderlands" is set to launch on multiple platforms. This includes PS5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One and PC.
