On Mother’s Day, Taylor Swift reached out to one of her fans who lost her mother. A letter by ‘Iced coffee girl’ touched Swift’s heart as she checked her Tumblr account.

Iced coffee girl or Kaileen addressed a letter to Taylor Swift on Mother’s Day and she asked for a hug. “Today is Mother’s Day, a day most people spend with their mothers thanking them for everything they do. But, for me, I can’t spend this day with my mom because she’s in heaven,” Kaileen wrote.

She continued and revealed that her mother passed away last January. Kaileen also mentioned that her mother was her best friend and she felt “empty” on that day. However, Taylor Swift’s song filled the void for Kaileen.

She wrote that this day will be hard for her, but she is going to get through because of Swift’s rhymes. Swift went to Tumblr to comfort her fan.

“Kaileen- I love you so much and can’t imagine what you must be feeling today,” Swift wrote to Kaileen.

She added that she has lived through her “worst fear.” She felt her pain and felt sorry that she could not spend time with her mother on the special day.

Swift told her that no one should think that she (Kaileen) should feel normal on Mother’s Day. The singer praised her “sunny, sweet disposition” even after going through something so “tragic” and “dark.”

The “Shake It Off” singer also sent a “huge hug” to Kaileen. Earlier, it was revealed that Swift’s mother Andrea Swift was battling cancer. Meanwhile, Taylor Swift’s forthcoming concert’s one of the tickets can cost $2500 and the buyer of this ticket can sit next to Democratic politicians, according to Washington Post. The price is high as it is a fundraiser by Rep. Lois Frankel (Florida), Rep. Cheri Bustos (Illinois) and Rep. Gwen Moore (Wisconsin).
